Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports his Deputies, assisted by New York State Police and members of the East Concord Fire Company, responded to a cell phone call from lost bikers in Sprague Brook Park Wednesday night.
Sheriff’s dispatchers received a call from a biker in the park who explained that he and his riding partner became disoriented after the sun went down. Deputies Justin Hyde and Michael Okal responded to the park and organized two search teams. The teams hiked to the last known location provided by the bikers.
The search teams located the bikers nearly one and a half hours after the initial call was received at 10:50 p.m. The bikers were safe and did not sustain any injuries.
