Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports a two vehicle crash in the Town of Sardinia sending the driver and a passenger to the hospital.
At approximately 1:15 am, Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Creek Road near Pratham after dispatchers received calls about a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and colliding with a tractor trailer head-on.
The collision injured the driver Dylon Isaacs, 19 of Arcade, and his female minor passenger. Isaacs was taken to Bertrand Chaffee Hospital where he was treated for head and leg injuries. The female passenger was initially transported to the Bertrand Chaffee and later to Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo with a leg injury. The driver of the tractor trailer and Isaacs’ third passenger were evaluated at the scene by Sardinia Fire Company personnel and no injuries were reported.
Both vehicles needed to be towed from the crash scene.
Dylon Isaacs was charged with speeding and failure to maintain his lane.
