Erie County Undersheriff Mark Wipperman reports the arrest of a Clarence male after members of the Erie County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit, Cheektowaga Police and NFTA Police executed a search warrant.
At approximately Noon today, this multi-agency warrant team executed a search warrant for Richard Paul’s residence at 9170 Sheridan Drive in the Town of Clarence. Seized in the mid-day raid were four (4) pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $10,000.
Narcotic Detectives, working with other agencies, were able to secure a search warrant signed by Judge Timothy Drury after an anonymous tip lead to the collection of evidence against Paul. The subject was charged with a felony count for Criminal Possession of Marijuana-2nd: Aggregate Weight more than 16 ounces.
Sheriff’s Deputies transported Paul to the Erie County Holding Center where he is being held pending his arraignment in Clarence Town Court on Thursday December 11.
