Erie County Undersheriff Mark Wipperman reports the arrest of two individuals for shoplifting at the Eastern Hills Mall on two separate larceny charges.
On November 29, Deputy Gregory Kent responded to an incident at the Eastern Hills Mall after a suspected shoplifter got into a physical confrontation with store security. Payless Shoes’ store security personnel confronted Felicia Green, 25 of Buffalo, after stealing 2 pairs of moccasins, a pair of boots and a pair of shoes. During the confrontation, Green allegedly bit and scratched one of the security officers.
Green was charged with felony Robbery (caused physical injury), Petit Larceny and Assault with intent to cause injury. She was transported to the Erie County Holding Center where she is awaiting a December 18, court appearance.
Deputy Dennis Orlowski responded to the Sears store in the Eastern Hills Mall for a shoplifter in custody. When the Deputy arrived at the store, loss prevention employees stated they witnessed the suspect steal two bottles of cologne and pass all points of purchase. The minor was charged with Petit Larceny and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center for processing and was later released.
