ALDEN – On October 3, Deputy Zamorek observed a vehicle speeding on Main Street in the Town of Alden and initiated a traffic stop.  When the Deputy began interviewing Brian Thompson, 56 of Alden, he suspected the driver was intoxicated.  Thompson was transported to the Clarence Substation where a chemical test indicated a .09% BAC.  Thompson was charged with DWI, speeding and other traffic violations; he was released on traffic tickets.
CHEEKTOWAGA – At approximately 2 a.m. Saturday morning, Deputy David Zamorek initiated a traffic stop on Dick Rd in Cheektowaga for a vehicle swerving between lanes. Darale Young, 22 of Buffalo, was taken to the Sheriff’s Clarence Substation where he submitted to a chemical test.  The results of the test indicated a BAC of .16% - twice the legal limit.  Young was arrested and charged with DWI, failure to stay in a lane and other traffic violations.  He was released on Appearance Tickets.
ELMA – Deputy Richard O’Neil arrested Craig Hinchcliffe, 40 of East Aurora, for DWI after the Deputy observed Hinchcliffe driving on the wrong side of the road.  The arrest happened October 5, at approximately 4 a.m. on Clinton Road in the Town of Elma.  Hinchcliffe was charged with DWI and failure to stay right and was later released on tickets.
