Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a domestic violence suspect after a brief search in the Village of North Collins.
Erie County Sheriff Deputies responded to a 911 call where a female was claiming to be attacked by Jonathan Rosario, 21 of North Collins. When the Deputies arrived at the residence, Rosario had fled the scene and Deputies immediately initiated search of the area.
After a brief search, Deputies apprehended Jonathan Rosario and charged him with acting in a manner to injure a child, intending to damage property and violating an Order of Protection, all misdemeanors. Deputies also charged Rosario with 2nd degree harassment – a violation. Further criminal charges are pending and Child Protective Services was contacted.
The alleged attack caused cuts to the victim’s arms and other injuries to her upper body.
