Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the Crash Investigation Unit is investigating a single vehicle rollover crash, in the town of Elma.
27 yr. old, Erica M. Reska, was driving, eastbound, on Clinton Road and lost control of her 2002, Ford Explorer, leaving the roadway and rolling over, before coming to rest in a small creek. In addition to Ms. Reska, her two children a 2 yr. old male and a 6 yr. old male were also in the vehicle.
Ms. Reska was transported to Erie County Medical Center by Elma Fire Company ambulance, where she was treated and released; both children were transported to Women and Children's Hospital, by Blossom and Marilla Fire company ambulances and were admitted for injuries sustained in the crash.
Ms. Reska was charged with driving while ability impared by drugs, a misdemeanor; Leandra's Law, for driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, a class E felony; two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
