Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Holland man for Felony Vehicle and Traffic charges after a traffic stop in Wales Thursday night.
While on patrol in Wales at the corner of Rt. 16 and Emery Road, Deputy Don Hoelscher arrested Joseph A. Seeley (26) and charged him with D Felony DWI (3 prior DWI convictions from 2008, 2009, and 2010), Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (revoked license for said arrests), Driving a Vehicle without an Ignition Interlock Device (misdemeanor), and multiple traffic infractions including Imprudent Speed, Unsafe Turn, and Littering after stopping his vehicle for erratic operation and throwing a plastic cup out the window of his vehicle. Seeley refused to submit to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content. He was processed and transported to the Holding Center to await arraignment on his charges in Wales Town Court.
This was the 128th DWI arrest by Sheriff’s Road Patrols in 2014.
