• Narcotics Arrest - Tingue

    Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the early morning arrest of a Machias woman for narcotic possession following a traffic stop on Rt. 219 in the Town of Concord.

    Erie County Sheriff's Deputy Brad Ballantyne stopped a vehicle on Rt. 219 near Genesee Rd. in the Town of Concord for a traffic violation.

    Upon further interview and investigation, the passenger, 41 y/o Dlyn G. Tingue of Machias was found to be in possession of about a dozen Methadone pills wrapped in plastic and which she had no prescription for.

    Tingue was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree, a class C Felony, and was taken to the Erie County Holding Center and held for arraignment in the Town of Concord Court.

    The driver was released at the scene with a traffic ticket.
