• Criminal Mischief - Reinhardt

    Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Clarence man for Criminal Mischief and Reckless Endangerment following an incident at a local variety store.

    Erie County Sheriff Deputies Kristin Rozycki and Chris Soluri responded to a Town of Clarence variety store for a report that a known customer, 47 y/o Otto C. Reinhardt of Clarence Center Rd. in Clarence,  was acting belligerent in the store, was refused service, at which point he ripped a sign down left the store. As the clerk went outside to confront Reinhardt about the sign, Reinhardt drove off in his vehicle, almost striking the clerk.

    Reinhardt was located a short time later at his residence in Clarence and subsequently arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree and Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree.

    Reinhardt was taken to the Erie County Holdind Center and held pending arraignment in the Town of Clarence Court.
