• K9 Assist - K9 Cort
    Posted On: Apr 01, 2014

On 03/31/14 at approximately 730 pm the Sheriff’s Office assistance was requested by Cheektowaga PD. CPD Officers had a vehicle pulled over and they had a strong suspicion that the vehicle may contain narcotics. ECSO Deputy Grabar responded with his K9 Cort and they performed a sweep of the vehicle. K9 Cort gave a positive indication for narcotic odor and Officers found suspected crack cocaine and a handgun. CPD Officers placed the subject under arrest. Once again an ECSO K9 showed why they are such an asset to our department and can do things Deputies cannot. Great job Cort and Deputy Grabar!
