Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports the arrest of a Town of Lancaster man for driving while intoxicated on 01/09/13. This is the Erie County Sheriff's Office 3rd DWI arrest in 2014.
Deputies Russell Tyczka and George Avery responded to a complaint of a vehicle off the roadway and the driver passed out inside the vehicle. Upon investigation, patrol determined that the 30 yr. old driver, Lawrence Nagel, was intoxicated. Mr. Nagel was taken into custody and transported to the Erie County Sheriff's Elma Substation where a chemical breath test was administered. The breath test revealed that Mr. Nagel's blood alcohol content was .14%. Mr. Nagel was arrested for DWI and several other vehicle and traffic charges.
Mr. Nagel was released to a third party on uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Elma Court at a future date.
